The Village of Georgetown seeks to fill a part-time position for a Code Enforcement Officer. This employee will lead the effort to improve & maintain the appearance of Georgetown’s neighborhoods through proactive application of Village laws. Under direction of the Village Administrator, this position will be responsible for enforcing the various property maintenance & zoning ordinances passed by the Village Council. The Code Enforcement Officer will have strong customer service skills & the patience to educate & assist property owners in complying with the law. The employee will be responsible for preparing & presenting cases to the Mayor’s Court Magistrate as well as the Board of Zoning Appeals. Wage starts at $14.25 per hour and 20 hours per week.
